Guelph General Hospital is seeking a skilled RCPSC-certified Gastroenterologist to join our outstanding team in beautiful Guelph, Ontario. As a key member of our medical team, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of experienced Gastroenterologists to provide exceptional care to our community.

Position Highlights:

• Join a well-established team of Gastroenterologists at a community hospital committed to growing a leading Gastroenterology program; GI consultant service with GI-only call
• Interest in Hepatology or Motility is an asset
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills are essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the field of Gastroenterology
• Perform endoscopies with precision and accuracy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Engage in ongoing professional development, research, and education
• Contribute to the continual improvement of quality and safety initiatives at GGH
• Maintain strong working relationships with patients, families, and team members

Qualifications / Required Skills

Qualifications:

• Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certification in Gastroenterology
• Current licensure to practice medicine in Ontario
• Expertise/interest in Motility or Hepatology is an asset
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
• A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support to the Guelph community
