Canada-Global Rating Scale (C-GRS)
Celebrating 10+ years and growing!
The C-GRS is a quality improvement program is far reaching across Canada with 155+ sites (hospitals and clinics) and 400+ users.
C-GRS is a web-based self-assessment tool used by endoscopy units to evaluate service quality and identify areas for improvement, with a focus on patient-centered care. Charting results are available for each site's internal review and comparisons.
The C-GRS examines 12 items related to Clinical Quality and the Quality of the Patient Experience as outlined below:
Clinical Quality | Quality of the Patient Experience |
---|---|

|
Each item contains 7–11 Yes/No questions. The responses generate a letter grade per item, with space to document action plans for any “No” answers. A PDF report summarizing all responses and action items is automatically generated for review and planning.
There are typically two cycles in a year, each cycle is $100. The spring cycle is from March 1 – May 31, the Fall cycle is September 1 to November 30.
A certificate sticker is issued for sites that have completed both cycles in the previous year.
