Funding Opportunities

The CAG strongly supports the development and maintenance of formal educational research components within Gastroenterology in Canada. Funding is available for all levels of training (clinicians, gastroenterology residents, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate and summer students).

UPDATE: Summer Studentship Awards and PhD Scholarship Programs

The CAG is no longer accepting applications for the Summer Studentship Awards and PhD Scholarship Awards. With the support of the CAG, these awards will now be administered by the TRaIning A New generation of researchers in Gastroenterology and LivEr (TRIANGLE) program.

TRIANGLE is a holistic program that provides awards, research and professional skills development, mentorship, and networking opportunities for trainees and early-career researchers. You are encouraged to learn more about the program and award application process on their website here.
