Endoscopy Achievement Award
New in 2024-25!
The CAG Endoscopy Achievement Award will be awarded to a CAG member who is recognized nationally for their expertise and contributions to endoscopy. This could be important clinical contributions, guideline development, or important research in endoscopy.
Candidates must:
- Hold an appointment at a Canadian university, hospital or research institute
- Be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant resident in Canada
- Be a CAG Member
Please note: Attendance at the Canadian Digestive Diseases Week™ (CDDW) conference is mandatory to receive the award.
Application Process
Step One: Nomination - Deadline is August 31 11:59 PM ET
Please note that any submissions received after the deadline will be considered for the following year.
Nominators and Nominees must be CAG members in good standing for at least 3 years.
The Review Committee will assess and score nominations on demonstrated achievements in the following area(s):
- National Recognition
- Clinical Contributions
- Guideline Development
- Research Contributions
- Additional Contributions

Step Two: Review
CAG Clinical Affairs will review the nominations and make recommendations to the Board, who will make the final decision regarding recipients. Selection will be based on the records of endoscopy achievement of candidates.
Step Three: Approval
Only the award recipient will be notified via email. The award is presented at CDDW™, and recipients are required to attend in order to receive the award.
