Excellence in Quality Innovation Award
The CAG Excellence in Quality Innovation Award is awarded to a CAG member who has made outstanding contributions through innovations that improve the quality and/or delivery of gastroenterology care in Canada. The award recognizes excellence in quality improvement research and/or implementation of clinically impactful quality initiatives.
The recipient of this award will be invited to give a lecture at Canadian the Digestive Diseases Week™ (CDDW™) conference.

Selection Process
Candidates must:
- Hold an appointment at a Canadian university, hospital or research institute
- Be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant resident in Canada
Step One: Nomination

Nominators and Nominees must be CAG members in good standing for at least 3 years.
Submission Requirements
- Nominations must be submitted by September 15 11:59 PM ET
- Submissions received after the deadline will be considered for the following year.
- The Nomination form must be completed in a single session with the required documentation, it will not save your information to return to at a later time.

Step Two: Review
CAG Quality Affairs will review the nominations and make recommendations to the Board, who will make the final decision regarding recipients. Selection will be based on quality improvement initiatives of candidates.
Step Three: Approval
Only the award recipient will be notified by email. The recipient will be presented at the CDDW™ Conference, and it is expected they will formally accept it at the Opening and Awards Ceremony.
