To work as Senior Medical Officer in New Zealand, you need to be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ). Salary and benefits
Senior Medical Officers have 6 weeks of annual leave and 12 paid public holidays giving you time to explore our beautiful country and raise a family in our diverse communities. Along with your base salary as a Respiratory Physician you will have ongoing professional development and will work alongside a multi-disciplinary and supportive team.
Medical Officers annual salaries range NZ $142K - NZ $210K plus allowances
Medical Specialists annual salaries range NZ $185K - NZ $267K plus allowances
