The Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2027 CAG Recognition Awards. These prestigious awards celebrate excellence, leadership, innovation, and outstanding contributions to gastroenterology in Canada.

Each year, the CAG Recognition Awards honour individuals whose work has advanced research, improved patient care, strengthened education and mentorship, and contributed meaningfully to the Canadian GI community.

We invite members to nominate deserving colleagues and peers across a range of award categories in clinical care, education, research, quality innovation, and community service.

Award recipients will be recognized during Canadian Digestive Diseases Week™ (CDDW) 2027, taking place in Vancouver, British Columbia from February 26-28, 2027.
