posted on Nov 19, 2025

The first Canadian consensus statement on the diagnosis and management of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) has now been published in the Journal of the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (JCAG). The statement as also been co-published in Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology, the journal of the CSACI.

This milestone publication, “Recommendations for the diagnosis and management of eosinophilic esophagitis in adults and children in Canada: a Delphi consensus project,” reflects the extensive work of a multidisciplinary expert panel from across the country.

CAG extends its sincere thanks to the many contributors — especially the CAG and CSACI members who participated in the Delphi process — for their leadership in shaping this important guidance.
