We're thrilled to share that the Journal of the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (JCAG) has achieved an impressive 2025 Impact Factor of 3.8, up from 2.7 in 2024, in Clarivate’s Journal Citation Reports.

This significant increase has also improved JCAG's standing in Clarivate's Gastroenterology & Hepatology category, moving from 61st of 147 journals last year to 46th of 153 journals (Q2) in 2025.

JCAG has also earned a 2024 Scopus CiteScore of 4.1, ranking 68th of 176 journals in the Gastroenterology category.

These achievements reflect the dedication and contributions of JCAG's editors, authors, reviewers, and the broader Canadian GI community. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and strengthen the journal's impact and global reputation, especially the members of the Editorial Board.
