Candidates:

  • must be within seven (7) years of 1st faculty appointment.
  • must hold an appointment at a Canadian university, hospital or research institute
  • must be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant resident in Canada
  • must be a member of the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology

Nominations for this award can be made by any member of the CAG. The most convenient means to nominate a candidate is to use the *CAG Nomination form found on this Web Server! A curriculum vitae must be concurrently forwarded to the CAG National Office, preferably in electronic format. The Research Committee will review the nominations and make recommendations to the executive, who will make the final decision on the recipient. Selection of the recipient will be based on the research record of the candidate.

Nominations must be received by the National Office by July 31st. A presentation will be made at the Canadian Digestive Diseases Week where the recipient will deliver a 20-minute lecture on their research. The award will include a honourarium of $1000.
