Community Research Grant (CREG)
The Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) and the Canadian Digestive Health Foundation (CDHF) are pleased to present an award specifically designed to assist clinically-based gastroenterologists, who are members of the CAG, take advantage of special educational and professional skills upgrading opportunities. Applicants must be CAG members, in practice for at least one year at the time of application, and may not have received this award previously (this is a one-time award). The CPEG is offered in odd years (2015, 2017, etc.) while the Community Research Grant – CREG is offered in even years (2016, 2018, etc.).
How to apply
For the CREG, there is a two-stage process. Applicants are asked to complete a Letter of Intent (LOI). Upon approval of the LOI, applicants will be asked to provide additional details surrounding the research component using an online form.
Step 1: Complete the Letter of Intent (LOI) - due October 15th, 2015
Please fill out the LOI online form. A response will be provided within one month.

Step 2: Complete the Application Form - due December 15th, 2015
Once approved by the CAG, a link to the application form will be emailed.
